The Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group is delighted to have partnered with the world-renowned Aces High Gallery to offer our supporters a range of fine aviation art. As part of the partnership, a percentage of each sale will go directly to support Hawker Typhoon RB396’s return to the skies.
Led by Squadron Commander Roland “Bee” Beamont, Typhoons of 609 Squadron are dramatically illustrated as they scramble from their base at Manston in April 1943, the brute force and raw aggression of this tough warbird leaving nothing to the imagination.
Typhoon Scramble is a landmark aviation print edition for the purist collector – the very first published aviation work from Richard Taylor.
Joining artist Richard Taylor in signing each print, this edition is personally signed by three fighter pilots who flew the Typhoon in combat with 609 Squadron during World War II.
- Flight Lieutenant SIR ALEC ATKINSON
- Flight Lieutenant GEOFFREY STEVENS
- Flying Officer ALLEN BILLAM
