Delivery information

The shop is operated entirely by volunteers who fit in its operation around other responsibilities. As such, orders are dispatched when they visit the Unit. All the volunteers have to drive there so the main item dictating visits is the volume of orders, renewals etc. Generally, they visit once a week but more if volumes justify it. The object is to ensure all orders are dispatched in a two to three week timeframe.

All proceeds from the shop go to the rebuild or RB396.
 
You can help the volunteers by:
 
Gifts – please ensure that you place your order in plenty of time and disclose any special instructions in the comments filed when buying for special occasions, for example birthdays. 
 
Christmas – this is a busy time and postal delays may occur so place your order as early as possible, The last posting dates before Christmas are disclosed on the shop well before the Christmas period
 
Postage – all UK items are posted second class and overseas by airmail. However, large items maybe sent overseas by surface mail where airmail costs are prohibitive. The information is disclosed on the affected product order page. If you would like to have them sent by airmail please email webshop@hawkertyphoon.com for a quotation.
 
Certificates for donations – In some cases there will be delays on these because of the need to organise planting of trees etc. The certificates are produced by another volunteer and sent to the shop for dispatch.
 
Supporter Club renewals – please renew as early as possible to spread out the load.
