Who are we?
We are the Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group (HTPG), a charity dedicated to raising the profile of the Hawker Typhoon Fighter/Bomber and to recognising the achievements and sacrifices of the Crew’s and Ground Crew’s by restoring the last surviving combat veteran Typhoon to flight status. HTPG is a registered charity (no. 1167143)
How do we collect information from you?
We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, when you contact us, to make a donation, complete a Gift Aid declaration or if you purchase merchandise through our web shop.

If you make a donation online or purchase a product from us, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.

We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations (for example the collection of Gift Aid). You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. We only contact members who have purchased a membership in order to receive communications from us about the project, our exciting events or our fundraising activities.
We only contact customers regarding queries about specific purchases or in response to queries about specific orders.
We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email, phone or text message unless you have given your prior consent, which may be given by the purchase or renewal of a membership.
You can opt out of any contact at any time and we will remove all your details entirely, providing this does not prevent us from fulfilling our statutory obligations, by contacting us at: [email protected].
