The Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group is delighted to have formed a partnership with the world-renowned Ace High Aviation Gallery to offer a selection of their art and books through the Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group Webshop.
Craig Smith, Director of Military Gallery and Aces High said, “We’re proud to form this exciting partnership and support the hard work being done to return Hawker Typhoon RB396 to the skies.” Trustee Sam Worthington-Leese concurred, “Partnering with Military Gallery and Aces High is a wonderful opportunity for the supporters of the Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group to support the project in a new and exciting way. The incredible art offered through this partnership shows the Hawker Typhoon as RB396 will be, a remarkable aircraft in her prime.”
The initial selection of prints on offer will focus on the Hawker Typhoon and Tempest from artists Robert and Richard Taylor, Anthony Saunders and Keith Burns. The commemorative book, OVERLORD: D-Day and the Battle for Normandy is also available. Each print and book bought through the Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group Webshop will be fulfilled by the team at Aces High and a percentage of each sale will go towards the rebuild of Hawker Typhoon RB396.
With this new partnership, and coupled with the artwork created for the project by Neil Hipkiss and Matthew Holness, we are able to offer our supporters the opportunity to add a wider range some of the most timeless aviation art available to their collection and support RB396’s return to the skies.
